Description	The international workshop on Electronics, Control, Measurement and Signals (ECMS 2003) is the 6th in the line of biannual professional events that started in 1993 as Czech ? French meetings are later transformed into regular international workshops. The workshops are co-organised by the Technical University of Liberec and Paul Sabatier University Toulouse, and they are held alternately in the Czech Republic and in France. The ECMS 2003 focus is put on the presentation of original research work and Mechatronics, sensors and drives, Measurements and measuring methodes, Electronics, circuits and their diagnostics, Signal and Data processing (speach,image and video), Piezoelectrics nad ferroelectrics, Modelling, Control engineering, Petri nets. Now, we have prepared the Tutorials on: Piezoelectric Properties of Materials and their Applications in MEMS, Design for Testability (REASON, the FP5 European project),Efficient Lighting (COST, Action 529).
