Description
  • The process of turning occupies a major share in production of machining technology. An important part of the technical preparation of production is to determine the optimum cutting conditions. An important factor for finishing machining is the restriction on machined surface roughness. This article deals with the assessment in terms of roughness and precision machined surfaces and the influence of cutting conditions during longitudinal turning, there is also investigated the influence of built-up-edge. The physical nature of built-shows that for a given material and cutting environment is dependent intensity of built-in cutting speed or rather cutting temperature and cutting environment.
