  • In this work were inwestigated two pairs of intermetallic materials of FeAl type. One pair with different content of carbon, second one with silicon addition and without it. There were investigated especially aluminium carbon plates or carbon flakes and their stability after heat treatment. Intermetallic materials of FeAl type are desirable for lower price and very good passivity effect in aggressive atmospheres at temperatures up to 1200°C.
