Description
  • Polyester fabrics belong to often and regularly have used materials in the textile industry. Troubles connected with textile hydrophobicity minimizing are usually solved by textile fibers’ surface chemical modification, but from ecological point of viewpplication of plasma for fabric modification seems to be superior to classical chemical wet processes. For study of modification effectiveness we performed series of experiments in different plasma sources at low and atmospheric pressures. For working ganitrogen, oxygen, their mixtures and air were employed. Paper discusses modification effectiveness in dependence on discharge input power, plasma treatment duration and hydrophobicity of the fabric.

  • Polyester patří k pravidelně a často využívaným materiálům v textilním průmyslu. Problémy spojené s jeho hydrofobitou jsou obvykle minimalizovány chemickou modifikací vláken. Plazmová modifikace se zdá být z hlediska ekologického vhodnější, než klasickéhemické modifikace Z důvodu studia modifikační efektivnosti, jsme provedli sérii experimentů v odlišných plazmových zdrojích, za nízkého a atmosférického tlaku. Jako procesní plny byly zvoleny dusík, kyslík, jejich směs a vzduch. Článek diskutuje modifikční efektivnost v závislosti na výkonu výboje, době výboje a hydrofobicitě vláken. (cs)
