  • The polyester fabric commercial named PES Tesil 12 is routinely used material in the textile industry. This fabric was modified by an radio frequency (RF) plasma for enhancement of its hydrophilicity. To enhance the effectivity several layer of the fabricould treated in together. Limitation of this method is the plasma penetration into the fabric. The aim of this paper is to investigate the dependence of the plasma treatment deepness into the textile fabric on the process parameters. Both the influenceof the plasma parameters (power pressure and substrate distance from the plasma) and parameters of textile fabric (e.g. characteristic geometric distance of the fibers, diameter of the fibre) were investigated. The modified fabric was evaluated by the st%22ndard wetting test %22%22Drop test%22%22. A small droplet of liquid was dropped on the surface and after given time was observed the area of the feathered stain.%22

  • V textilním průmyslu je běžně používána polyesterová tkanina obchodního názvu PES Tesil 12. Tato textilie byla modifikována, během našem pokusu, RF plazmou z důvodu zvýšení její hydrofility. Z důvodu zvýšení efektivity modifikační úpravy, byla textilie mdifikovaná v několika vrstvách najednou. Cílem tohoto článku je studium závislosti pronikání plazmy skrz textilii na procesních parametrech. Byly zkoumány dvě závislosti: závislost plazmových parametrů (tlak a vzdálenost substrátu od elektrody) a paramety textilie (tzn. geometrická vzdálenost příze v tkanině a průměr příze). Modifikovaná tkanina byla vyhodnocena standardním testem smáčivosti “Drop testem“. Na tkaninu je kápnuta kapka detekční tekutiny a po určeném čase je vyhodnocena velikost plochy skvny. Při těchto daných parametrech byly provedeny dva základní pokusy pro nalezení optimálního penetračního efektu. (cs)
