Description
  • Polyester fabrics belong to often and regularly used materials in the textile industry. Traditional, mostly chemical methods of their processing often join with undesired environmental problems. The ecological requirements oblige to search and explore neand environmentally safer methods or technologies. One of them might be the cloth surface modification by means of the atmospheric corona discharge. In the paper there is shown a connection between modification characteristics such as corona power input,duration of action, electrode optimisation and cloth sorption. It shows that the corona-modified cloth has an increased sorption and, probably, the touch.

  • Polyesterová textilie je často užívaným materiálem v textilním průmyslu. Tradičně, nejvíce využívané chemické metody jsou spojeny s nechtěnými ekologickými problémy. Ekologické požadavky nás nutí vyzkoumat a najít nové a ekologicky šetrné metody a technoogie. Jednou takovou možností z povrchových modifikací je atmosférický koronový výboj. V tomto článku je provedeno spojení modifikačních charakteristik, jimiž jsou: výkon výboje, doba stárnutí modifikačního efektu, optimalizace elektrod a sorpce tkaniny.Bylo prokázáno, že koronový výboj modifikuje textilii se zvyšujícím se účinkem sorpce již při pravděpodobném krátkém časovém intervalu.
