  • Sound speed measurement is reliable used for evaluation of graphite shape and cast iron rigidity (Young modulus E). Sound speed measurement can be used for amount evaluation of free cementite as well if the graphite shape is the same.Acoustic damping asa physical quantity is critical mainly for measuring frequency selection. Measurement of intrinsic casting frequency can be used for graphite shape evaluation at mass production of thin-walled castings.

  • Měření rychlosti zvuku se spolehlivě využívá pro hodnocení tvaru grafitu a tuhosti (modul pružnosti E) litin. Při stejném tvaru grafitu litiny lze měření rychlosti zvuku použít i pro hodnocení množství vyloučeného volného cementitu. Akustickýtlum jako fyzikální veličina je kritický především pro volbu měřící frekvence. Měření vlastní frekvence odlitků se dá použít k hodnocení tvaru grafitu při velkosériové výrobě štíhlých odlitků. (cs)
