  • Modifikace smektitů se bude ubírat dvěmi směry. U přírodních forem smektitů bývá mezivrství obsazeno společně jednomocnými (Na+, K+) a dvojmocnými (Ca2+, Mg2+) kationty. Typ převažujícího mezivrstevního kationtu ovlivňuje vlastnosti a tudíž i jeho využitelnost. V řadě aplikací je proto výhodné aby byly mezivrstevní pozice obsazeny jen jedním typem kationtu. První ze směrů výzkumů modifikací bude tedy zaměřen na možnosti převodu českých smektitů na monoiontové formy. Druhý ze směrů modifikací pak bude zaměřen na interkalace smektitů. Jednak na interkalace organickými molekulami a také na interkalace anorganickými polykationty. (cs)
  • There are two ways of the research of smectite modification. The interlayer is assigned together to monovalent (Na+, K+) and bivalent cations (Ca2+, Mg2+) at natural smectite types. The type of prevailing cation determines the properties and its exploitability. It is good for many applications if the interlayer positions are assigned to one cation type only. First modification research direction will be aimed at the posiibility of transforming Czech smectites to monoionic forms. Second direction will be aimed to smectite intercalation. Both intercalation by organic molecules and inorganic polycations intercalation.
