  • This chapter describes Case Study of KARKO Cooperative for People with Visual Impairment, realized in the frame of international artistic project entitled Le Grand Magasin. The effort of the faculty of Art and Design J. E. Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem to increase the quality of products and the image of the KARKO cooperative presents a model, exporatory action to improve the situation of social business in general, and it was connected with the motivation of young designers to produce their design from scratch.   • Das Kapitel beschreibt die Fallstudie für die Produktivgenossenschaft sehbehinderten Menschen KARKO, realisiert im rahmen des internationalen künstlerischen Projekt Le Grand Magasin. Das Bemühen der Fakultät für Kunst und Design J. E. Purkyne Universität in Usti nad Labem, die Qualität der Produkte und die Selbstdarstellung der Genossenschaft KARKO zu verbessern, stellt ein Modell- und Forschungprojekt dar, das der Verbesserung der Situation der Sozialbetriebe dienen soll, aber auch von Anfang an dem Wunsch der jungen Designer entsprach, ihre konkrete Entwürfe in der Praxis zu realisieren.
