| - Příspěvek prezentuje metodu uspořádání biotopů podle jejich schopnosti jakožto prostředí pro rostlinné a živočišné druhy. Metoda současně hodnotí biotopy na základě průměrných společenských nákladů na udržování kvality přírody a krajiny. Biodiverzita (variabilita mezi živými organismy ze všech zdrojů: CBD 1992) je hodnotným aktivem pro lidské generace a je složitě spojena s územním rámcem. Proto také hodnocení ekologické kvality území je lepším přístupem k hodnocení biodiverzity než jakýkoli jiný přístup nespojený s územní dimenzí. V ČR byl nedávno rozpracován přístup k ekonomickému hodnocení environmentálních aktiv, který kombinuje environmentální služby a revitalizační náklady na udržování kvality biotopů. V příspěvku budou popsány základy této metody interdisciplinárního ekonomického hodnocení biotopů a jejich přínos pro měření spotřeby přírodního kapitálu a měr oddělování v české ekonomice 90. let. - The paper presents a method for ranking biotopes according to their capacity as an environment for living plant and animal species. At the same time, this method values biotopes according to the average national costs that are necessary for sustaining the quality of nature and landscape. Biodiversity (variability among living organisms from all sources: CBD, 1992) is a valuable asset for human generations and it is intricately tied to the territorial framework. That is why evaluation of the ecological quality of a territory is a better approach to biodiversity valuation than any other approach not tied with the territorial dimension. For the economic evaluation of environmental assets and their life-supporting quality, an approach through combining the environmental services and the restoration costs of respective biotopes has recently been developed in the Czech Republic. Fundamentals of this method of interdisciplinary economic valuation of biotopes will be described and its contribution for measu
