Description	The subject of analysis treats monthly values of uneployment-rate (in %) from the year 1991 till december 2002. It is taken into account additive model of this time series. The trend function is chosen as the result of evaluating of mean square error andthe index of determination. Funther, the seasonal fluctuation of the analysed time series are taken into account. Cyclical behaviour of the analysed time series was not statistically seignificant. Seasonal fluctuations are described through seasonal fac tors. Finally, the article presents the statistically-based forecasts of the uneployment-rate for the year 2003 and compares the first known real montly values of unemployment-rate with the forecasts. (en) Předmětem analýzy jsou měsíční hodnoty míry nezaměstnanosti (v %) od roku 1991 až do prosince 2002. K popisu této časové řady byl vybrán aditivní model. Trendová funkce je zvolena na základě hodnot střední kvadratické chyby a indexu determinace. Dále jsou zkoumány sezónní složky dané časové řady. Cyklické chování dané časové řady bylo statisticky nevýznamné. Sezónní odchylky jsou popsány sezónními faktory. V závěru článku je statistická předpověď míry nezaměstnanosti pro rok 2003 a porovnány první skutečné měsíční hodnoty míry nezaměstnanosti s touto předpovědí
