Description	The article is devoted to the issue of relationship of national language and national substandard. The existence of substandard shows that every language reacts differently to lexical innovations and elaborates its own self-preservation instincts, conditioned by its specific status and position in society. Penetration of substandard units to standard language proves that the concepts of standard and usage have variable character and in the course of time change their boundaries.
