  • The nuclear analytical methods Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS) and Elastic Recoil Detection Analysis (ERDA) were used for the study of silicon based structures. The applicability of these methods will be presented in combination with other techniques Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Raman Spectroscopy (RS). We studied silicon thin films for solar cells grown on plastic substrates, e.g. PET, deposited at low temperatures at which the growth and properties are still little understood. We have investigated the role of the deposition parameter: the substrate temperature (between 35 and 200°C). We have used ERDA to measure the hydrogen content of the deposited films which changed from 32 % at 35°C to 12 % at 200°C. The RS was used in the study of crystallinity of prepared films in combination of the dark conductivity measurement.   • Jaderné analytické metody RBS a ERDA byly použity při studiu struktur na bázi křemíku. Byla prezentována aplikabilita těchto metod v kombinaci s dalšími metodami jako Ramanovská spektroskopie, mikroskopie atomárních sil (AFM). Křemíkové vrstvy jsou vyvíjeny např. pro solární buňky a jsou deponovány na polymerních substrátech např. PET při nízkých teplotách, kde jsou vlastnosti růstu křemíkových vrstev ještě neprozkoumané.
