Description	The result of the project was the development of a methodology aimed at the identification of unique genetic markers in malignant cells that could be used as molecular targets for the monitoring of minimal residual disease following chemotherapy or bone marrow transplant in hematooncology patients. This technology enables sensitive and specific follow-up of the treatment response on the oncology patient, and allows for an early prediction of the relapse and an early treatment intervention.
