Description
| - In the conditions of precise small-area field experiment with a combination of inherent (geogenic) and additional (anthropogenic) soil contamination the metal availability and transfer to some agricultural crops have been tested. The content of three different cadmium, lead, and zinc soil forms (total extractable by 2 M-HNO3 and by neutral 0.05 M-EDTA) and their content in oats and rye tissue (straw and kernel) were monitored. Results confirmed an extensive complexity and ambiguity at a study of those problems. Poster presentation. Abstract published in Book of Abstracts of the International Conference of ESSC: Protection of the Ecological and Productivity Functions of Soil in a Pan European Context, p.45. Research Institute for Soil and Water Conservation, European Society for Soil Conservation, Czech Society of Soil Science, Průhonice, Czech Republic, June 23-25th 2009.
