| - The aim of this work was to assess possible influence of different rates of barley meal in feeding rations of cattle on total number of rumen protozoa and family Isotrichidae. Feeding trial with different percentage of barley in ration’s dry matter (5.8 – 49.5 %) was carried out on 11 heifers (live weight 275 - 309 kg) in the Research Institute for Cattle Breeding, Ltd. Rapotin in January 2006. The protozoa were preserved, coloured and counted in chamber under microscope. Number of protozoa for 5.8 % rate of barley in feeding ration’s dry matter ranged 518,000 – 530,000/ml, family Isotrichidae 5,600- 13,000/ml by pH 6.49 - 6.76 and for rates 49.5 %; it was amounted up to 1,960,000/ml, family Isotrichidae 31,500/ml. Value of pH simultaneously went down on 6.05. It was found correlation between percentage of barley and: 1) number of protozoa (r = 0.88) and 2) negative correlation for pH (r = - 0.68). Our rates of barley meal in feeding rations have positive effect on number of rumen protozoa in rumen.

- Cílem práce bylo sledování zastoupení různého podílu šrotu ječmene v krmných dávkách u skotu a jejich vlivu na celkový počet bachorových nálevníků a zastoupení čeledi Isotrichidae. Podíl šrotu ječmene v krmných dávkách byl 5,8 - 49,5 %. Studie byla provedena na 11 jalovicích (živá hm. 275 - 309 kg) v pokusné stáji Výzkumného ústavu pro chov skotu, s.r.o. v lednu 2006. Nálevníci byli zakonzervováni, obarveni a počítáni v počítací komůrce pod mikroskopem. Celkový počet nálevníků byl při zastoupení bobu 5,8 % mezi 518.000 - 530.000/ml, čeleď Isotrichidae 5.600 – 13.000/ ml, při pH 6,49 – 6,76. Při podílech šrotu ječmene 49,5 % byli počty nálevníků až 1.960.000/ml a čeleď Isotrichidae až 31.500/ml, pH kleslo na hodnoty 6,05. Zjištěna korelace mezi podílem ječmene v krmné dávce a: 1) počtem nálevníků (r = 0,88) a negativní korelace pro hodnotu pH (r = -0,68). Podíly šrotu ječmene v naší studii mely pozitivní vliv na bachorové nálevníky, ale současně docházelo také k poklesu pH na hodnoty 6,05. (cs)
