  • Paper presents implementation of tools for early warning in risk management of rock fall. For effective risk management in areas of engineering geology a geomechanics, we need to apply new and highly non-standard analytic methods for modeling the time series from monitoring. These methods are based on theory of Complex Dynamic Systems or non-linear dynamics. For monitoring of rock fall close to the international route I/62 in Hrensko, it was necessary to find an effective tool for controlling of instability of the massive and early information about possible rock fall using alert messages. This tool should be fully automatised with self-decision featuring. In order to run the system in this way, it was necessary not only to install a monitoring equipment, but also to evaluate data in real time by using mathematic methods and, namely to set up rules of crisis management.
