Description	Description of the current FEM-model of the cross-roll piercing process will be realized within contract research. This report contains 3-D model description and simulation results of the cross-roll piercing process. The aim is to present the current model completely and to describe its capabilities for the evaluation of subsequent properties: - the eccentricity of a hollow (influence of: the temperature gradient, the inclined frontal surface of a billet, the distance between Diescher discs), - the outer diameter of a hollow, - the wall thickness of a hollow, - the plug wear (e.g. according to Usui’s model).
