Description
  • On two different sites (permanent grassland and arable land) the effects of three variants with different rates of compost incorporated into the soil on soil infiltration rate were studied. It was found that the highest rate of compost incorporated into the soil stimulated higher infiltration, compared with the control with no compost incorporation. On the arable land, soil infiltration was higher than on the permanent grassland.
