Description	The remarkable area of potential utilization of fly ash or fluidized ash could be the production of dry mortar mixes. The reasons for utilization of such by-products from power plants is not only the binder or filler saving, but also the endeavor to improve the utility characteristics of final products and, of course, still required utilization of industrial wastes. The paper discusses the partial substitution of portland cement by selected fluidized ash in dry mortar mix and its influence on technological properties of fresh mix, followed by influence on physical-mechanical properties of hardened mortar cured for certain period of time. (en) Významnou oblastí možného využití popílků vzniklých vysokoteplotním či fluidním spalováním je výroba suchých maltových směsí. Jedním z důvodů použití těchto vedlejších energetických produktů je kromě úspory pojiva popř. plniva také snaha o zlepšení užitných vlastností výsledných produktů a samozřejmě stále žádané zpracování energetických odpadů. Článek pojednává o částečné náhradě cementu zvoleným popílkem z fluidního spalování v suché maltové směsi a jejím vlivu na technologické vlastnosti čerstvé směsi a následně na fyzikálně-mechanické vlastnosti zatvrdlé směsi po určité době zrání.
