Description
  • The research work presented in this paper shows positive impact on emissivity of inorganic composite by changing the filler composition. The composites can also be used in power-producing equipment to provide increase efficiency due to high emissivity. Development of system which will provide a very high emissivity (0.90-0.99) within a short wavelength range is the intention of the project. FTIR (Furrier Transform Infrared Spectrometer) instrumentation is applied for the measurement of spectral emissivity. Spectral dependence of surface film radiation is measured in comparison with reference film (sprayed layer of chromium oxide) as well as reference film in comparison with black body. These tests demonstrated that filler composition is able to influence emissive properties.
