Description	The results of the faunistic research on artificial biotopes in the Czech Republic. In the year 2009, 59 butterfly species and at least 4 burnet species (Lepidoptera: Rhopalocera, Hesperioidea, Zygaenidae) have been found on 39 artificial biotopes (influenced, disturbed or damaged by anthropogenic activities) in the territory of the Czech Republic. From those species, 4 were protected (Papilio machaon, Colias palaeno, Apatura iris, Lycaena dispar), 2 were endangered species (Melitaea diamina, Boloria aquilonaris), 7 were vulnerable and one species was nearly threatened in according to the Red list.
