Description	The paper describes a conception of videoconference module that is part of integrated multimedia support system for research consortia. First, the basic properties and functionalities of the videoconference module are given with a view to communication within research teams. This is followed by a description of the technologies used in the implementation of the system and by the basic block diagram of the system. Next, the individual functionalities of the videoconference module are described using the DFD (Data Flow Diagram). In conclusion, a brief summary is given of the results of testing this conception of videoconference module when different terminal devices are used.
