| Description
| - Impact of drip irrigation on production of planting material of sweet cherries on dwarf clonal rootstocks was studied 2003 - 2005 in 3 incomplete nursery cycles. The mean share of survived rootstocks was after drip irrigation increased by 5.9 %. The irrigation was the most effective if partly leaved rootstocks were planted or if a very dry weather after their planting occurred. The highest positive respond to the drip irrigation was recorded with the rootstock P-HL-C, whereas Gisela 5 reacted the least expressively and it is therefore regarded for the most tolerant to a shortage of water. Improvement of water content in the soil had mostly slight positive effect on bud uptake but in one case it exerted also very unfavourably, probably because of greater bud damage by frost.

- Vliv kapkové závlahy na produkci výsadbového materiál třešní na zakrslých vegetativních podnožích byl studován v letech 2003-2005 ve třech neúplných školkařských cyklech. Újem podnoží po vyškolkování se v důsledku kapkové závlahy v průměru zvýšil o 5,9%. Tato závlaha byla nejefektivnější v případech, kdy podnože byly v době školkování již narašené a po vyškolkování nastalo suché počasí. Největší přínos měla tato závlaha u podnože P-HL-C, zatímco podnož Gisela 5 tuto závlahu tolik nepotřebovala a jevila se jako nejvíce tolerantní vůči nedostatku vody v půdě. Závlaha měla také vliv na zlepšení újmu oček po naočkování. (cs)
