Description
  • The Remote Sensing Method developed for the BOMOSA Cage Fish Farming System allows the managers using satellite imagery to identify potential water bodies for further use. The Manual describes detection of water bodies through principal component analysis and through image rationing. The method is designed for a free software system for digital data processing (MultiSpec). Examples of data processing from Landsat TM/ETM+, TerraAster and EO-1 ALI data are given. Data evaluation is described thoroughly and demonstrated by colored pictures of computer screen. Integration of final water bodies mask into GPS is explained.
