Description	Different genotypes of hop from six geographic areas (USA, Canada, France, Austria, Switzerland and Caucasus) were analysed by the RAPD method. Twelve highly polymorphic primers were selected and studied in detail out of a set of 200 decameric primers. Finally, two primers (OPF-07 and OPF-08) were chosen by cluster analysis which were able to distinguish hops to the geographically wide areas – American and European, respectively.
