| Description
| - Struktura krajiny výraznou měrou ovlivňuje kvalitu jejich ekosystémů, vč zastoupení druhů, indikujících tuto kvalitu (ekologickou stabilitu, stupeň přirozenosti). Jedním z těchto druhů je i perlorodka říční Margaritifera margaritifera, reprezentující velmi citlivá ohrožená vodní oligotrofní společenstva. Jejich hlavní výskyt v České republice je vázán především na horní tok Vltavy, Blanice, Malše a jejich četné přítoky.V povodí Blanice, v národní přírodní památce Blanice dosud přežívá největší středoevropská populace perlorodky říční, čítající přes sto tisíc jedinců. Chráněné území o rozloze 295 ha a ochranným pásmem 5 962 ha zaujímá poměrně širokou nivu, tvořenou mozaikou lesních, mokřadních a rašelinných lučních formací. Struktura krajiny v NPP představuje cílový stav, který spolu s dalšími opatřeními zde realizovaného záchranného programu vede ke zlepšování stavu oligotrofních společenstev a zachování populace perlorodky říční. - Landscape structure influences quality (ecological stability, degree of naturalness) of its ecosystems in significant rate, incl. representation of species indicating this quality. One of this species is freshwater pearl mussel (Margaritifera margaritifera); representative of very sensitive and endangered water oligotrophic communities. Their main occurence in Czech Republic is enagaged especially on upper part of Vltava, Blanice and Malse rivers and their numerous affluents. Biggest middle-europian population of freshwater pearl mussel counting more than 100 000 mussels still survives in Blanice river basin in National Nature Monument (NNM) Blanice. Protected area spreads 295 ha with buffer zone 5 962 ha and seats wide floodplain covered by mosaic of forests, wetlands and mires meadows. Landscape structure of NNM presents target conditions with implemented rescue programm leading to improve quality of oligotrophic communities and enhance pearl mussel population.
