  • Results of permeation measurement of high toxic agent, dichlorodiethylsulfide (sulphur mustard) through a given polymer membrane (double-sided butyl rubber polyamide fabric) is presented. Gas chromatography direct liquid injection, thermal desorption and ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) method was used for analysis of mustard vapors permeation. DAAMS thermal desorption tubes, direct liquid extraction and solid phase extraction ASSET-32 tubes were used for mustard agent vapors sampling. Used methods results comparison and evaluation for investigations of sulphur mustard permeation through protective barrier materials are presented.
