  • This study is focused on the evaluation of boron cluster compounds identification by comparison of measured and computer modeled mass spectra. Mass spectrometry and tandem mass spectrometry proved to be very useful tool to this purpose, in spite of the fact that the identification was sometimes complicated by similarities between molecular weight of counter ion of ESI + and that of basic boron clusters skeletons in conjunction with unexpected hydrogen looses during mass spectrometric experiment.

  • Tato studie je zaměřena na posouzení možností identifikace klastrových sloučeniny boru pomocí porovnání experimentálních hmotnostních spekter s modelovanými pomocí počítače. Jednoduchá a tandemová hmotností spektrometrie se k tomuto účelu velmi osvědčila; komplikujícím faktorem byly občas shoda mezi atomovou hmotnostní protiiontu a molekulovou hmotností základního boraxového klastru a též nespecifické eliminace atomů vodíku.
