Description
  • The decomposition of various organic compounds (VOC) in gliding arc discharge has been intensively studied during last 15 years. Our experimental results pointed on regarding toluene and hexane destruction in gliding arc plasma showed that this techniqueis very effective. This work was based on improvement of the experimental apparatus - reactor and the other fundamental elements and on study of VOC decomposition. The applied voltage generating the discharge was varied in the range of 2 - 4 kV, the air r, nitrogen and its mixtures with argon or oxygen were used as carrying gas with flow rate of at least 1300 ml min-1. The product analysis proceeded in a gas chromatograph linked to mass spectrometer. The products of decomposition were sampled by SPME technique and analysed using GC-MS.

  • Rozklad různých organických sloučenin (VOC) v klouzavém výboji byl předmětem intinzivního studia již v uplynulých 15 letech. Naše experimentální výsledky ukazují, že rozklad taoluenu a hexanu v klouzavém výboji patří mezi velmi efektivní techniky. Tato práce byla založena na zlepšení experimentálního přístroje - reaktoru a některých jiných základních prvků, při nichž byl rozklad VOC studován. Vysoké napětí generující výboj bylo nastavováno v rozmezí 2 - 4 kV, vzduch, dusík a jeho směs s argonem nebo kysslíkem byly používány jako nosné plyny o průtoku maximálně 1300 ml min-1. Analýza produktů rozkladu se uskutečňovala v plynovém chromatografu propojeném s hmotnostním spektrometrem. Produkty byly vzorkovány pomocí SPME techniky a analyzovány na GC-MS aparatuře. (cs)
