Description
| - The principal goal of Nanotechnology is to model, simulate, design and manufacture nanostructures and nanodevices with extraordinary properties and assemble them economically into a working system with novel functional characteristics. The understanding of novel physical, chemical, biological, optical, electronic, magnetic and other phenomena and material properties is important and could bring an interdisciplinary approach to the science. Therefore, the industrial and academic will need people who think, measure, engineer on the nanometer scale, and who also possess strong multidisciplinary skills. Presented OPVK project Nanotechnology for Electrical Engineers targets to transfer the fundamentals of Nanoscience to Electrical Engineering students with almost no background in quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics.
