Description
| - MR tomography and ultrasound processing of biosignals represents important non-invasive diagnostic methods used in medicine. The input amplifier of the tomograph and the ultrasound circuits introduce noise and interference into the processing, which rather devalues the diagnostic of a given organ. Ultrasound examination is economically more advantageous because it is less costly and less time-consuming than examination via MR tomography. In the paper a new method for enhancing the sonographic images of temporomandibular joint is presented, which helps to enhance and segment the image of a relatively small joint and thus helps to establish a correct diagnosis of the afflicted joint.
