Description	Preamplifier noise reduction in the view of varying source impedance, as in AE sensors, is discussed. First, the relation of the preamplifier noise and the source resistor is treated. Further, the input capacitance and the internal source capacitance influence are discussed. Eventually, the influence of preamplifier AC coupling on the noise is shown and analyzed.
