Description
  • The origin model was applied to the describing of the crystallization kinetic and temperature field of the massive casting of ductile iron. The dimension parameters of casting were 500x1000x500 mm. The ductile iron castings were cast to the sand forms. The calculated regime of the temperature field of the massive casting was verified by means of temperature measuring in the special places of casting. The specimens from special places of ductile iron castings were choused to the analyses of structure and chemical heterogeneity. The origin model describing the kinetic of crystallization of the ductile iron is possible to use to the evaluation of the primary structure of massive ductile iron casting.
