  • Článek popisuje experimentální a výpočtové postupy při stanovení třecích ztrát částí spalovacího motoru. (cs)
  • Emission and mainly CO2 decrease requirements together with fuel savings force the development of modern combustion engines. A decrease of mechanical losses caused by friction losses is therefore a crucial requirement on the modern engine development. The paper presents computational and experimental methods that enable to determine portions of friction losses of engine different parts. In the case of the experimental approach, the special equipment is developed. This equipment enables to find friction losses for a whole engine speed range. The paper covers the experimental equipment development, the experiment realisation and the friction loss evaluation. The computational approach is also mentioned. The computational and experimental methods are presented on turbocharged diesel engine.
