Description
| - Steam condensation in the presence of non-condensable gas is an important thermal hydraulic phenomenon, which is necessary to solve in several process applications for reliable design of relevant heat transfer equipment. Contribution gives extended overview of accessible method and models for calculation of steam condensation heat transfer in the presence of non-condensable gas and presents some identified conclusions, recommendations and observations. Contribution is completed by pieces of knowledge and experience issuing from own engineering practice. Information about reliable professional software implementations in this field of heat transfer is also included. Based on results of developed software implementation and comparison with results presented in world recognized literature, some new possibilities and opportunities in classic design of vertical tubular condensers are identified for advancing heat transfer, resulting in reduction of heat transfer area and thus in saving of condensers' inves
