Description
  • Modeling of structures made of fibre-reinforced concrete can be performed at both deterministic and statistical levels. More advanced statistical level aims to calculate reliability using reliability measures like failure probability or/and reliability index using Monte Carlo type simulation. In such case we have to consider material parameters to be random variables and the knowledge of statistical parameters and type of probability distribution. In case of fibre-reinforced concrete it includes mainly fracture energy, tensile strength, modulus of elasticity and parameters of softening model for fibre-reinforced concrete. Two alternative approaches of statistical parameters identification are proposed.
