  • It is known that concrete is the most important civil engineering material. Concrete structures have to keep different temperatures hot in summer and freeze in winter, warm in day and cold at night. The concrete cyclic frost resistance method is one of the normalised testing methods. The Acoustic Emission Method can contribute to description of structural changes during frost cyclic loading. Acoustic emission activity has been monitored in the course of frozen and watered cycles. Application of the acoustic emission technique is not easy, but it provides interesting results
