  • It is a well known fact that there are many problems in various areas of control and regulation (ie. in economical, sociological, biological and especially technical) that cannot be described using a set of strict mathematical rules and relationships. One of those areas is civil engineering of materials and its manufacturing technological processes with its vaguely definable relationships and determinable values. Therefore complex operation systems applied in manufacturing of construction materials still represent theoretical and practical problems not only during the concept stages but also during realization. Nevertheless their application is necessary because simpler operation systems fall short and don't fulfill demands placed on them. In many working cases they fail entirely. Therefore their practical application in real-life regulation and control systems is impossible.   • V běžném životě je známo, že existuje velice mnoho problémů z nejrůznějších oblastí řízení a regulací - ekonomických, sociologických, biologických, a hlavně technických - které nelze popsat soubo-rem přesných matematických vztahů a závislostí. Patří sem i materiálové stavební inženýrství a jeho vý-robní technologické procesy s vágně definovatelnými vztahy a nepřesně stanovitelnými hodnotami. Klasické způsoby využívající kvantitativní metody v těchto případech selhávají a jsou mnohdy prakticky nepoužitelné. Analýza systémů vágně definovaných nebo příliš složitých a tedy spíše nevhodných pro po-pis klasickými metodami může být řešena kvalitativním přístupem pomocí tzv. selské logiky využívající vágních a mělkých bezrovnicových znalostí. Teorie kvalitativního modelování je vhodným nástrojem založeným na třech slovních pojmech popisu základních stavů, na modelech pracujících s trendy a definovaný (cs)
