  • Gypsum free cement (GFC) is based on Portland clinker. Gypsum as an initial setting time regulation additive is replaced by a system based on lignosulfonane of alkali metal and carbonate of alkali metal. This binder features high initial strength and short initial setting time; subsequently, these properties continue in concretes made with this binding material. Concrete with gypsum-free cement is characterized with short setting time and high initial strength. Concrete with gypsum-free cement has comparable strength after 3 days of curing with a 28 days strength of common concrete with Portland cement containing gypsum. Our paper describes methodology and calibration relations for both - GFC strength determination through ultrasonic pulse velocity and strength determination of types of concrete made with GFC using ball thrust hardness test.   • Bezsádrovcový cement (GFC -gypsum free cement) je pojivo na bázi portlandského slinku ve kterém je přísada pro regulaci počátku tuhnutí sádrovec nahrazena systémem lignosulfinanem alkalichého kovu a uhličitanem alkalického kovu. Toto pojivo se vyznačuje vysokými počátečními pevnostmi a rachlým počátkem tuhnutí, tyto vlastnosti se následně přenáší i na betony vyrobené s tímto pojivem. V článku je uvedena metodika a kalibrační vztahy jednak pro určování pevností bezsádrovcových cementů z rychlosti šíření ultrazvuku a jednak pro zjišťování pevností betů s bezsádrovcových cementů s využitím tvrdoměrné odrazové metody a ultrazvukové impulsové metody. Ultrazvuková impulsová metoda je využitelná pro zjišťování pevností v tlaku GFC. Pro zjišťování pevností v tlaku betonů s GFC jsou využitelný odrazové tvrdoměry (system Schmidt typ N a L - PROCEQ, Švýcarsko), ultrazvuková metoda je využitelná za předpokladu neměnných s (cs)
