  • Steady progress in building industry material technology and design methods requires new methods of non-destructive assessment, for ascertaining the material quality and safe application. The want of applicable non-destructive methods for inhomogeneous material and intricate shape body defectoscopy, which is typical of the building industry, is still persisting. The application potential of classical acoustic methods to complicated-shape bodies, to inhomogeneous materials and to the detection of small-ssized cracks and defects distributed throughout the bulk, is rather limited. This is why a great attention is paid to the design and testing of new non-destructive methods meeting the above mentioned requirements. The paper compares the results of the ceramic tile structure integrity diagnostics obtained by the non-linear ultrasonic spectroscopy method and the Impact - Echo method.

  • Zdokonalování materiálových technologií a konstrukčních postupů ve stavebnictví vyžaduje i nové metody nedestruktivního hodnocení, které by umožnily zjistit jejich kvalitu a bezpečnost. Nedostatek vhodných nedestruktivních metod pro defektoskopii nehomogenních materiálů a těles složitých tvarů, typických pro stavebnictví, stále přetrvává. Použití klasických akustických metod pro tělesa komplikovaných tvarů, pro nehomogenní materiály a pro detekci malých trhlin a defektů rozložených v celém objemu vzorkuu je značně omezené. Proto je věnována v oblasti nedestruktivního testování velká pozornost návrhu a ověřování metod, které by splňovaly uvedené požadavky. V článku jsou porovnány výsledky diagnostiky celistvosti struktury keramických dlaždic pomocí metody nelineární ultrazvukové spektroskopie a pomocí metody impact - echo (cs)
