Description
| - The paper deals with the analysis of procedures applied in the assessment of the dynamic response of actual building structures to seismic loads due to traffic. The effectiveness of applying either complex field measurement or computer simulation or a combination of both is analyzed. The analysis is based on the results of the solution of three selected actual problems. They differ as to the excitation source, environment, structure type and operation conditions. There are presented the results of probllem solution: the response determination, the response evaluation and the design of measures to reduce the response intensity.
