Description
  • Efficient treatment of surface is necessary and crucial condition to achieve quality rehabilitation of reinforced concrete. The point is to remove all deteriorated and non-cohesive concrete to solid concrete. Generally required tensile strength of surface layers of treated surface concrete is 1,4 MPa. If the tensile strength of concrete cannot meet required value there is necessity to apply special rehabilitation technology to repair cooling towers. In case of thin structure of cooling towers the static load bearing capacity and stability of tower shell could be at risk.
