  • Kvůli ochraně životního prostředí musí automobilový průmysl pracovat na zavádění nových technologií a materiálů do výroby vozů. Redukce hmotnosti karoserie je spojena s různými trendy nasazení lehčích a pevnějších materiálů. Zavedení nových materiálů do výroby přináší nové otázky do spojování dílů karoserií. Svařitelnost takových dílů se stává komplexní problematikou a formální monitoring procesních parametrů je nezbytný pro dosažení požadované způsobilosti. Metoda návrhu experimentu (DOE) pomáhá nastavit optimální kombinaci parametrů výroby. Na základě statistických výpočtů z několika málo pokusů je možné vybrat vhodný materiál i parametry pro kvalitní svaření konstrukce. (cs)
  • Due to the environmental protection automotive industry must think of applying new technologies into their manufacture. Reducing the car body weigh is connected with different trends in setting on lighter and stronger materials and using advanced construction techniques. Setting on new materials brings also new questions in joining the car body parts together. Speaking of thin steel sheets that are mostly used within the car body building, aspects of high strength and light weigh can be achieved only by alloying and special heat treating the sheets. Weldability of such sheets is complex. Formal monitoring of process parameters is essential to reach the desired level of capability. Design of Experiments (DOE) Method helps to set up optimal parameter combination of the production. It helps to select the best material and welding parameters according to statistical count based on results of a few experiments.
