  • Článek vysvětluje poškozování betonu karbonatací, a vztah k životnosti konstrukce z železobetonu. V teoretické části jsou dány analytické vztahy pro difúzní procesy a je ukázáno, jak lze získat parametry procesu z časového průběhu tloušťky karbonatované vrstvy, nebo z rozložení stupně karbonatace s hloubkou. Jsou navrženy dvě metody pro charakterizování stupně karbonatace. Jeden vychází z měření tvrdosti Schmidtovým kladívkem, zatímco druhý je založen na elektrochemickém měření stupně pH v různých hloubkách. V experimentální části je ilustrováno použití obou metod. Lepší výsledky byly docíleny s elektrochemickou metodou. (cs)
  • The paper explains the deterioration of concrete by carbonatation and its relationship to the lifetime of constructions from reinforced concrete. In the theoretical part, analytical formulae are given for diffusion-driven processes, and it is shown how the parameters of the process can be obtained from the time development of the thickness of carbonated layer, or from the depth distribution of carbonatation. Then, two methods for the characterisation of the degree of concrete carbonatation are proposed. One, based on the measurement of hardness by Schmidt hammer, and another, based on electrochemical determination of depth distribution of the pH-degree [1]. In the experimental part, the use of each method is illustrated. Better results have been obtained by the chemical method.
