Description
| - The paper explains characteristic features of stress fields under pointed or spherical indenters. Stress strain diagrams can be constructed from data obtained with a spherical indenter, as the stains gradually increase with increasing depth of penetration. The paper brings the relationships between characteristic stress and strain for 1) elastic contact, 2) for fully plastic contact (or soft materials), and 3) relationship for the intermediate strains or for materials with high ratio of yield stress to elastic modulus, which is mased on the model of spherical cavity under internal pressure.

Diagramy %22napětí-přetvoření%22 lze sestrojovat z hodnot získaných kulovým indentorem, kde přetvoření narůstá plynule s hloubkou zaboření. Článek přináší vztahy mezi charakteristickým napětím a přetvořením pro 1) elastický kiontakt, 2) plně plastický kontakt )nebo měkké materiály), a vztahy pri přechodovou oblast se středními hodnotami přetvoření (popř. pro materiály s vysokým poměrem meze kluzu a modulu pružnosti, založené na modelu expanze kulové dutiny zatížené vnitřním tlakem.
