Description	Unmodified carbon paste electrode was employed for determination of nicotine in samples of nicotine mouth spray by using square-wave voltammetry and method of multiple standard additions. The samples did not require any prior pre-treatment process and were directly analysed in phosphate buffer (pH ? 7.5). In order to avoid decreasing of nicotine signal with subsequent measurement it was necessary to include condition step before each measurement, finding that the best conditioning step consist of 30-s potentiostatic regeneration at -0.2V vs. ref.. The found amount of nicotine in each sample correlated with the amount declared by manufacturer.
