Description
  • Three fillers which differ of various particle sizes and shapes, content of structural phases and chemical composition were tested. Surface hardness was tested in series increasing values of PVC (5%, 10%, 20%, 30% and PVC=CPVC, in the case of calcite 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and PVC=CPVC). The determination of coatings surface hardness was assessed according to CSN 67 3076 by the device Automatic 500 (Persoz pendulum). Hardness of coating is assigned in percentage related to hardness of glass standard (100%).
