Description
  • Biotransformation of glycerol to dihydroxyacetone by bacteria strain Gluconobacter oxydans immobilized in the polyvinylalcohole gel was studied. Sterility requirements necessary for succesfull course of reaction were examined. Suitable purity and treatment of reactor and all initial reaction components (water, glycerol, yeast extract, air used for bacteria respiration and immobilized microorganisms) were found as necessary conditions against contamination.

  • Práce se zabývá biotransformací glycerolu na dihydroxyaceton pomocí bakterií Gluconobacter oxydans imobilizovanými v polyvinylalkoholovém gelu, zejména jsou diskutovány požadavky na sterilitu nezbytné pro úspěšný průběh reakce. Bylo zjištěno, že sterilita reaktoru a všech vstupních komponent (voda, glycerol, kvasničný extrakt, vzduch) jsou nezbytnými podmínkami pro zabránění kontaminace. (cs)
