  • Im vorliegenden Beitrag geht es um die Unterstützung der Stadt Pilsen bei ihrer Absicht, Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2015 zu werden. Dabei wird auf eine Reihe von Ideen und Vorschlägen hingewiesen, die von Wissenschaftlern und Studenten aus Pardubice entwickelt worden sind und als aktuelles Projekt dem Magistrat von Pilsen vorgestellt wurden. Zu diskutieren ist ein neues Modell von Germanistik, in dem das gesellschaftliche Engagement dieser Philologie eine zentrale Rolle spielen sollte.
  • The present paper should support the initiative of the town Pilsen to become the European capital of culture 2015. A number of Ideas and suggestions developed by the researchers and students in Pardubice are being introduced. They were presented as an on-going project to the urban administration in Pilsen. A new model of German studies should be discussed as the social engagement of this philology plays a central role in this project. (en)
